SEDUCTION CHAMPAGNE
Our terroir «Cote de Sézanne» is part of the coast of the Ile de France (or Bassin Parisien). This rating was formed during the Cenozoic oligocene era (40 million years ago). They are composed of sedimentary rocks of marine and continental origin formed over time by erosion. More specifically, the vineyard of Fontaine Denis Nuisy is located on a bulge of the coast of Sézanne exposed East/North-East. The soils are clay-calcareous and suitable for Chardonnay (chalk) and Pinot Noir (clay and silt).
CHAMPAGNE Séduction
The family vineyard, consisting of 16 plots, has an average age of 40 years. We cultivate our vines with two Champenois pruning systems named Chablis and Cordon de Royat. Each of them have grass and/or bark and/or tillage.
Exclusively located around the farm, our vineyard and therefore our Champagnes are in perfect harmony with the typical wines of Sézanne.
CHAMPAGNE Séduction
Récoltant/Manipulant, all the stages of winemaking and manipulation are carried out our winepress, our vats and our cellars. Each of our cuvées is the object of special attention. This starts with the manual picking of plots that have reached optimum maturity. A smooth transition to the winepress and the isolation of the best juices. A refined blend of the different wines giving birth to the cuvées of the year. Each batch of cuvée is stored on slats for the best aging. And finally, a dosage adjusted to find the best balance.
